Rann Njalsdaughter from the L. Sprague De Camp and Lin Carter zombie tale base on Robert E. Howard characters.
This was for Damon Sasser over at Two Gun Raconteur.
Graphite pencil and charcoal pencil, more of my supra realistic stuff. This turned out so good I am considering submitting the original to the Art Renewal Center for realist artists but I am a nervous about possible rejection.

call to arms reproduction / private commission

Private commission for ms. Judy Jewell of Etsy fame ( Prop shop, cuddle me knits). Again, as with past reproductions the drawing went fine but the color scheme is nothing like Leighton's original and it's somber tones. This was done with color pencil and water color- color pencil on a heavy cardstock. This piece took so long and was sooo complex I was very happy when it was wrapped up :)
