My take/study of the Waterhouse version of this scene. I gave the characters more physical and emotional space than he did, the woman with more maturity, confidence and control and the powerful knight more resistant to her charms. A more subtle approach than Waterhouses' obvious seduction by an innocent and it lost some of the sexual tension that makes his image so strong but it is just how I saw the scene.
